  1. Great photo’s. Never been all that struck on Venice, but Rome ….. for me it’s the most beautiful place in the world. Try and go at least once a year, simply adore the city.

    • Thank you! Hmm we think Venice has something unique because of its gondolas and canals, small streets that leads to other small streets with on going restaurants and souvenirs shops 😀 But you are right Rome has this vibe and beautiful atmosphere. We really love it! This city is now one of our favorite city! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

    • Yes we had a great time too. Doing the sightseeing we didn’t do the first time we went! Thank you Sue for your nice comment 😀

  2. Looks amazing! I went to Venice a couple of years ago and would love to go back soon. Italy is definitely one of my favorite places to visit:)

  3. Thank you for checking out my blog! I cannot wait to go to Italy, it is definitely on my list 🙂 So jealous that you’ve both been twice!

Wonderful photos and happy future travels!

    • Hi Tori! You have an amazing blog 😀 Yes Italy is really a great country to visit! Wishing you a happy future travels too..don’t forget to post 😀

    • Thank you Joy! We love to get lost in these little streets hihi…First we wanted to take the boat taxi to get back to our hotel, but we thought why not walking its better to get to know the city more. Wow 3 hours later we finally found the hotel haha…

      • Oh, it was incredible. Everything was so full of patina, for lack of a better word. The rust, the paint chipping, the stucco crumbling, it was beautiful decay, a city frozen in time.

    • Thank you so much Chloe! Venice is really worth visiting..just go you won’t regret hihi. The hotel we stayed in was Hotel Universo & Nord. Its near the train station, about 3 min you are there. That’s a plus. But staying for a second time in this hotel hmm no we prefer not. There are plenty of other hotels that are better. Let’s us know how your trip went 😉

  4. Venezia is a wondeful city, full of history, art, culture, full of good food and good people. It has this special and unique atmosphere. I love it! Beautiful picures! 🙂

  5. Eheh yep, Venice and Italy in general are simply beautiful. I live in Tuscany and i believe it’s great!
If we only had less problems with politics here, would be a paradise where to live 🙂

    • Yes you right! Its a nice and beautiful country to live especially Tuscany! Nice nature, surroundings! We’ve never been in Tuscany before but it looks great! Yes except the politics pfff 😦

  6. Hey you guys,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my post “Wait for it…”
Traveling is such a rewarding thing to do and I’m always interested to see where other people go. Of course, as Western Europeans we have to go see Paris, Venice etc. When I visited Venice I was constantly torn between awe and incredulity for it has the beauty of something out of a fairy tale but at the same it seems so overly exaggerated that it made me think of Las Vegas. A product of tourism and human curiosity. Highly fascinating. To me, it’s the Disney Land of Europe that sheds its mask over the winter months, only to be even more adorable for it.

    • Hii Luzia! You are welcome 🙂 Yes traveling is really rewarding. We love to travel, exploring the world, meeting people and get to know their culture. You just learn so much about it. Its also nice and interesting to see/read where other people go and reading their adventures. Sharing stories. And you are right living in Europa you have to make city trips to Paris, Venice, Berlin etc its something you have to see. Haha yes..We understand for people who are not from Europe will think, this city just looks like a fairy tale or like Disneyland. 😀 Thank you for visiting our blog, your blog looks GREAT! 😀

    • Your welcome Linda. Thank you so much for your nice comment 😀 Hopefully you will visit Italy someday soon. Komt u uit nederland? Hadden we op uw blog gelezen. Wat leuk!

  7. Have just found your blog and loving it! Lots of places that I have visited and your photos are just stunning. My parents were from the Veneto region and Venice is one of my favourite places in the whole world!
